My amazing holiday

In the morning I went to my cousins house. At night we were watching the lost village. But it was sad because Smurfette died. When everyone went to sleep I tipettoed to the table to get the romote then I sneeked over my bed and quickly made me a milo. And grabbed me just one cookie but I never new that was the last cookie. When everyone was awake then my Aunty came out of her room she wanted to have a cookie when she looket in side the jar there was no cookies when she looket at every mouth the last one was me. There was lots of chocolate on my mouth. When I woke up I blamed it on my cousin.

Describing an Image

Today miss szymanik brought a picture with lots of Interesting things I spotted a little girl on the turtles head. She was holding three little hot air ballons then I spotted a grey elephant but I looked closer and the grey elephant had roots for his feet. On the grey elephant was a white snowy mountain. There was a little girl that was on a shiny yellow ladder she was trying to touch the window. Inside the window was a are dark green sky. 

Ducks

Yesterday we saw a duck but that wasn't all - there were 8 ducklings under the golf post! Then they went to have a bath in a big puddle.

Writing, 2017

The Ned show. The Ned show was in the Hall. Tomorrow they will be selling Yoyos. One is 8 dollars the next yoyo is 14 dollars the last one is 20 dollars.

Museum

Last week team2 went to the museum. First we went on the bus. I sat next to Zechariah and taimana. When we arrived at the museum we went to the Kai room and had our morningtea. After we finished eating we put our bages into the cages then miss szymanik told us to find our parent and line up be hind them. We went to a room full of treasures and I sore a diamond. After that we went upstairs than we sat down on a mat and fire joe came to tell us to come in side the room. And sit on mat then fire lish told us a story a man and a woman after the story they told us how to Make tatos after that she told us to come and sit on the chair she told us that they were going to do our tamoko.

My Wonderful Weekend

 

In the weekend I went to a family day. There were lots and lots of  bouncy castles. First we took off our shoes then we went down the stairs to go on the bouncy castles. You can do back flips and front flips I did a front flip. It was so fun I was so happy.

Magical Matariki

 

What is Matariki?

Matariki is a group of seven stars in the sky and the name for the Maori new year. The seven stars come back in late May or early June. At night when you go to bed you might see the 7 stars of Matariki. We celebrate Matariki in lots of different ways. We make kites and fly them. Sometimes one of your whanau read you a story about Matariki when you go sleep. If people make you sad just forgive and forget. We catch kai moana and tell stories from the past. People also weave flax.

Maths

Using repeated addition to solve x and  problems. Understanding that repeated addition is the same as multiplication.

Fractions

We have been learning to make, name, and recognise wholes, halves, third parts, fourth parts and fifth parts out of play dough.

My holiday highlight

In the holiday's I went to kyzel's house and played on his PS4. The game was Gta5. After that we got some chip's and pie and went home. That was my  favourite part of the holidays.

Snow White and the 7 dwarfs

Once upon a time there was lived a Queen and a King. They lived in a castle but the castle was far away. The Queen wished for a little baby girl named Snow White and then her wish came true. One day the king remarried an Evil Queen.  Every morning the Queen said "mirror mirror on the wall, who is the fairest of them all?" "You Evil Queen". Suddenly, the Evil Queen said, "mirror mirror on the wall who is the fairest of them all?" The mirror replied, "Evil Queen you are not the fairest of them all". The Evil Queen got so angry. Next the Evil Queen disguised herself as an old lady. She went to the 7 dwarfs house where Snow White was living. She knocked on the door. "Hello my dear can I please have some soup?" she asked Snow White. "Yes" said Snow White. When the 7 dwarfs came home from work they saw Snow White on the floor. Next to her was an apple on the floor. The 7 dwarfs put her in a glass box in the woods so all of her friends could come to see her. Then the king smashed the magic mirror. A prince kissed Snow White. She woke up. Everyone lived happily ever after.

Writing a Letter

In the afternoon Room24 went to the letter box and put the letter into the box. When we were going to put it in Miss Szymanik was taking a photo of us putting it in. First we picked a name out of the box and I got a name. We were not allowed to tell other people because it would ruin the letter and it wouldn't  be a fun day.

Melinda szymanik visit Room 24

Yesterday morning Melinda szymanik came to visit room24. She is an author of children's books and she wanted to share her love of book with us. First she read the Were Nana. Next she talked to us about the stor. After that we read the book with no pictures and it was funny. Lastly she was going. I enjoyed the visit because I liked the books.

Making Jelly

Yesterday we made jelly but first we put the green crystals in the bowl wen it was Morning tea she went to put it in the fridge and after that day we put the orange crystals it was all the same but it's just different flavours and. Wen it was Morning tea she put the bowl in the fridge she wanted it to be dissolved. After that she came and showed as. Lastly miss szymanik put the jelly in the we did the same thing with the orange and the green jelly.tasted very nice and yummy.

Clean Beach
